The Hanseatic City of Hamburg

Always intriguing, always new

Hamburg is right at the top of the list of Germany’s favourite cities. Tourists, visitors and locals who live in the Hanseatic seaport all agree: Hamburg is hard to match.

One of the reasons for this is the harbour city’s sheer diversity: gateway to the world, green capital, musical city, culinary capital, shopping paradise, cultural metropolis... Hamburg is constantly reinventing itself, yet it always manages to stay true to its Hanseatic traditions and values.

That’s why a day trip to Hamburg is a must for most visitors to Stover Strand Holiday Park. Young or old, big or small, port enthusiasts, cultural aficionados, music fans, nighthawks, shopaholics – there’s something for everyone who visits Hamburg for the day.

Boat tours and Hamburg events

One of the main attractions is of course Hamburg Harbour. And what could be better than to explore it by boat? Take a look at the boat tours we offer, all of which take you from the pier at Stover Strand Marina straight to Hamburg Harbour.
