If you like it authentic and close to the beach, then head to our nature pitches by the river. Here, from April to October, you can pitch your motorhome, caravan, or tent, dip your feet into the cool water at the bathing beach, and watch passing ships. Sounds like a vacation? It is.

Pitches at the main campsite
Here you can vacation all year round! Choose your spot close to the central facilities with main sanitary, reception, and fresh market, or by the idyllic inland lake. All pitches are paved and mostly equipped with direct disposal connections.

One pitch – one price. Whether motorhome, caravan, or tent – all are welcome! Up to 6 people, pets, electricity and Wi-Fi are included, as well as, from 2026, the use of the showers in the main sanitary building. If you prefer to shower in the washrooms by the Elbe River, you will need a shower token. These are available at reception and in the super market for €1.00 each.
During seasons 2 and 3, a minimum stay of 2 nights applies on weekends and 3 nights on holiday weekends. We also point out the use of dynamic pricing based on various factors.

Motorhome site
Top spot in a top location.
Our motorhome site is a separate space reserved exclusively for motorhomes and is located idyllically close to the Elbe – here our top spot rate applies, but you are welcome to book any other pitch with your motorhome as well. If you're not self-sufficient, you can get electricity via our coin-operated machines and pay based on usage. Of course, you can use Wi-Fi free of charge. So, hop into your motorhome to watch the ships at Stover Strand.

Our charming Swedish-style holiday cottages are located behind the dyke by the small inland lake and are available for booking all year round. The wooden houses with veranda accommodate four people and are equipped with everything you need. Simply a great place for your break in the Elbe marshes.

All holiday cottages have an open kitchen-living room with TV and seating area as well as two separate bedrooms and a private bathroom with shower. The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you need, such as a stove, microwave, coffee machine, kettle or toaster. The large windows in the living area offer you a view of the greenery. When the weather is nice, you can also make yourself comfortable on the terrace and put your feet up. Please do not smoke in the houses and do not bring pets. We will be happy to provide you with a baby bed or high chair free of charge for your stay upon request.

Camping without your own caravan? Well, then grab one of our delightfully cheerful Beach Campers in vintage style along the Elbe River. Frollein Tabberta and the other campers are perfect for couples and families.

You can move right in! The Beach Campers have "real beds" with slatted frames and mattresses, and they come with beds already made. They are equipped with an induction cooktop, refrigerator, dishes, pots, etc. Water is available in the outdoor kitchen, which also features a gas grill and washing facilities.
Each camper has a sunshade and cozy seating areas both inside and outside.
The toilets are nearby, and the main sanitary building at the central campsite, with separate shower cubicles and washing facilities for children, is available to you free of charge at any time. If you prefer to shower in the washhouse by the Elbe River, you will need a shower token. These are available at reception and in the fresh food market for €1.00 each. Bed linen and towels are provided in your camper. So, let your relaxing nature holiday on the Elbe beach near Hamburg begin!

Holiday in a small space with a magnificent view of the Elbe. The rustling of leaves, the lapping of waves. So close to nature and yet so comfortably holidaying with us! Right on the Elbe with a fantastic view of the river. Sounds like a vacation!

All shepherd's wagon come with a fully equipped kitchenette including cooking facilities, dishes and pots, refrigerator, coffee maker, and everything you need. You can get water from the sanitation facilities nearby. The two smaller huts, Louis and Louisa, each accommodate two people in a cozy double bed.
Fiete is our family model. Here, you'll find a double bed and an additional bunk bed for big or great little people. There's plenty of dishes and seating for four, and when the weather permits, you can enjoy a fantastic view of the Elbe from the covered terrace and lose track of time.

Permanent camping pitches
For camping lovers who want to stay longer, we have our own area for permanent pitches, complete with electricity, water, and sewage facilities. Here, you can make yourself permanently comfortable and create your own individual holiday spot.
Prices for 2026:
- Billing period: April 1st to March 31st of each year
- Plot rent: € 13.81 per sqm
- With an average Plot size of 130 sqm = € 1795.30 per year
- Additional costs: These only apply to electricity, which is billed according to consumption (currently € 0.50 / kwh)
Private home plots
Build your wooden house at Stover Strand or rent one from us - whether as a holiday accommodation or for staying forever! Both are possible. Come and enjoy the #elbsite of life!
Prices for 2026:
- Billing period: April 1st to March 31st of each year
- Plot lease: € 868.24 per 100 sqm
- The plots are usually 200 – 300 square meters in size
- Extra costs:
- Water, garbage, sewage etc: flat rate € 619.00
- Permanent guest surcharge of € 311.00
- Electricity according to consumption: Currently € 0.50 / kwh
- Gas: € 240.00 basic fee per year, as well as gas based on consumption (currently € 4.21 / cbm)

If you are looking for a shady spot under old trees that can be used all year round, Stover Holz is the right place for you!
The forest campsite is just a few minutes' walk from Stover Beach and offers some permanent campsites for nature lovers. In Stover Holz you can escape the heat and speed of the city. With the motto "back to nature", the relaxation factor in Stover Holz is as great as the anticipation of the time out in your new city escape!

Stover Strand is located directly on the Elbe – of course, we also have a harbor. Here you can moor your boat permanently or just stop by for a short visit - be sure to inquire beforehand, as our berths are highly sought after!
