There are always some interesting events happening at Stover Strand and in the surrounding area that you shouldn't miss. There's a lot going on – from regional festivals like farmers' markets and town fairs to major events like the famous Hamburg Port Anniversary. Spread the word and definitely check it out!

On-site activities
Sit, stay, relax!
Too much action? Then just stay on the site! Kids can enjoy our children's entertainment while parents... relax by the Elbe with a drink in our Beachclub.
Here, you can unwind, build sandcastles, dip your feet in the water, or enjoy the best ice cream in the area. Or you can check out our events! The Elbmarsch also offers a lot: beautiful farming villages, farm shops, storks, bird sanctuaries, and of course, the Tideelbe nature reserve. The Elbe Cycle Path is right outside the door. So, hop on your bike. Ah, what a neighborhood!
Children's entertainment
Fun, games, and action at the children's entertainment program!
During the peak season from April 5th to October 4th, a colorful, creative, and action-packed children's entertainment program takes place every Saturday at the Berry Biber headquarters at the playground on the main campsite, and even daily during the summer holidays and on holiday weekends!
Whether it's crafts, games, a treasure hunt on the beach, or a mini disco – there's always something to discover. And while the kids have fun, you can sit back and relax!

Bungee Jumper for Kids
New at the Beach Club: A Bungee Jumper for Kids!
Effective immediately, a real highlight awaits our young guests at the Stover Strand Beach Club: Our new Bungee Jumper - featuring four trampolines - promises loads of fun, action, and big jumps right on the banks of the Elbe!
Opening Hours: The Jumper is currently on a winter break. It will be back in action starting with the 2027 season!
We look forward to welcoming many brave little jumpers!

Sauna with Elbe view
Pure relaxation with a steam infusion in our cozy sauna right on the Elbe beach! The small trailer sauna can be booked exclusively for 3 hours during the summer months and offers relaxation with a view of the water – ideal after a eventful day on the Elbe. Treat yourself to a little wellness in a special atmosphere!
Simply book a 3-hour time slot at reception. This is possible daily between 9:00 AM and 6:00 PM and costs € 15.00.
Boat rental
Would you like to take a little boar around on the Elbe?
Since 2025 there has been a boat rental service again in our harbor. And the best part? You don't even need a boat license because you can also rent the boats without a license and get a short briefing for your trip!

E-car rental
Tired of nature and want to explore the cosmopolitan city of Hamburg or the surrounding area?
Rent our Zoe electric car for an exciting day trip to Hamburg, Lüneburg, or perhaps the Baltic Sea? The car can be rented daily from our reception for € 55.00, subject to availability, giving you mobility and complete flexibility. Let's go!

Hamburg is always a good idea and offers you, besides the well-known sightseeing highlights, the extensive harbor, musicals, sports events, the Hamburger Dom, and of course, the Miniatur Wunderland. And let's not forget about the fish market!

What's the best way to get from Stover Strand to Hamburg?
We've put together a variety of options for you here – with or without a car, whatever works for you!
From Stover Strand to HamburgStover Strand Shuttle
A convenient way to get from Stover Strand campsite to Hamburg is with our own shuttle bus.
During peak season (from the beginning of April to the beginning of October), our Stover Strand Shuttle runs every Saturday and on public holiday weekends at set times to Hamburg Bergedorf S-Bahn station. From there, you can easily reach Hamburg city center and all its famous sights with a city ticket and the S2 train line.
You can find the current shuttle departure times and further information about special trips (e.g., to the Hamburg Fish Market) in the display cases throughout the campsite or at our reception.
Lüneburg
How beautiful is that?
This city is a dream with its beautiful old town, street cafes, and restaurants by the water. Cute shops and the salt museum are must-sees, just like the blooming heath in August – September! Please note:
