Seasonal camping
all summer long
Seasonal camping is very important on the beautiful Elbe island of Lühesand. Bring your caravan over at the beginning of the season and make yourself comfortable all summer long until the end of the season in autumn. Would you rather be in the shade under the trees or airy and free on the meadow? Decide for yourself what your personal happy place on the island looks like.
Our pitches
Since the beginning of 2025, we have taken over the operation of the campsite from the Blohm family, who have run the site with passion for 90 years. And now we want to achieve great things together with you! We have connected the sites with electricity for you and are modernizing the sanitary buildings on the island, which are available to all campers. The seasonal pitches are spacious and offer you enough space to settle down as you wish.
Let yourself be seduced by the untouched nature on Lühesand and relax with your feet up on the banks of the Elbe at sunset. From there you can easily count the numerous ships passing by, because all the small and large boats that sail into the port of Hamburg sail directly past the Elbe island of Lühesand!

Coming up and coming down
Arrival by ferry
We will pick you up with our ferry from the ferry pier on the land side in Grünendeich and take you to the Elbe island Lühesand.
Just traveling by ferry helps you slow down and allows you to arrive and return to the natural island in a relaxed manner!
Ferry departure times
We will resume ferry operations at the start of the season in March 2025 and take you to the Elbe island!
Since the departure times depend on the tide, we will soon put together the next dates for your crossing to paradise.
